These terms apply when you use the Ski For Life website and when you join the club. The club is run by Mr Sven Putnis and Louise (Lou) Pode and operated by Ski For Life, [registered address to confirm]. By joining you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
The club is for adults. You must be 18 or over to join or to take part in any session.
The free community gives you the journal, the monthly letter and short intro films. The six-week build-up is a single payment of £19.99 and stays open for 120 days after payment. Ski For Life membership is £49.99 a year and renews each year until you cancel. Bespoke 1:1 sessions are priced separately. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
You can stop your membership renewing at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the year you have paid for. If you change your mind, you can cancel within 14 days of paying and get a full refund, as long as you have not yet accessed the club’s content. Because the films and the programme are digital content you can use straight away, when you pay we ask you to confirm that you want your access to start immediately and that you understand you lose this 14-day right to cancel once you access the content; your receipt confirms it. To cancel within the 14 days, email hello@skiforlife.co.uk. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Ski For Life is an exercise and education club for adults. It is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not guarantee that you will not be injured. Check with your own doctor, surgeon or physiotherapist before starting if you have an injury, a joint replacement, a heart or other medical condition, or if you are unsure. Stop any exercise that causes pain and choose the lower-impact option shown with each move.
The question box, webinars and members’ group are for general education and are not consultations. For an injury, contact your resort medical centre, your own clinician or Sven Ski Clinic. Trip Protection is a Sven Ski Clinic service provided under the clinic’s own terms; the club does not sell or provide it.
Films, sessions and articles are for your own personal use. Please don’t copy, share or sell them. In the members’ group, be kind, keep to the topic and don’t share other members’ details.
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that, but not for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. The club is for your own personal use, so we are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity. The exercises and information in the club are general and not tailored to your health: follow the safety notes in each session, work within your own limits and stop if something hurts. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms; we will tell members by email about any important change. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
