Questions

Honest answers before you join.

Everything people ask us before they join. If yours is not here, send it — we answer in the letter.

The club

Is this a six-week programme?

It can be. The six-week build-up is a one-off £19.99, timed to land before one trip. Ski For Life membership is the year-round club: the build every autumn, the film library and monthly live Q&As.

Who is it for?

Adults who ski — from the nervous first-timer to the skier coming back from surgery — who want to arrive strong and ski happy. You need to be 18 or over to join.

Do I need a gym?

No. Every session has a home version using a chair, a step and a resistance band. Gym versions are there if you prefer.

Membership & money

How much is it?

The six-week build-up is £19.99 one-off. Ski For Life membership is £49.99 a year and includes the build, all video content and monthly webinars. Bespoke 1:1 starts from £179.99.

Can I cancel?

The membership renews yearly; you can stop it renewing from your account at any time. The build-up is a single payment and does not renew. You can cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund, as long as you have not yet accessed the content. When you pay, you ask for your access to start straight away and agree that this 14-day right ends once you access it. See the Terms.

What is Trip Protection?

Trip Protection is Sven Ski Clinic’s own cover for your ski week. It is booked with the clinic and is not part of the club membership. See About Trip Protection (opens in a new tab) on the Sven Ski Clinic website.

Health & safety

I have had a knee or hip replacement — can I do it?

Many people ski well after a joint replacement. Check with your own surgeon first; every move shows a lower-impact option.

Will it stop me getting injured?

No one can promise that, and we don’t. The club is about arriving stronger, better informed and calmer. Ski within your limits and follow your own clinician’s advice.

Is it a substitute for physiotherapy?

No. Ski For Life is an exercise and education club for adults, not a substitute for individual medical advice. If you have an injury or pain, see your own clinician or physiotherapist, or Sven Ski Clinic.

Sven & Lou

Can I ask Sven about my injury?

The question box is a club, not a consultation. For an injury, book Sven Ski Clinic or see your own clinician.

Can I work with Lou one-to-one?

Yes. Bespoke 1:1 sessions with Sven or Lou start from £179.99, online at a time that suits you, and members get a discount. Ask about 1:1, or see Lou’s own coaching at louisepode.com (opens in a new tab).

Still wondering? Send Sven and Lou your question — they answer in the monthly letter or by email.
